The first session or two is about getting to know each other, understanding what brought them to therapy, discussing goals, and determining whether it is a good fit.
You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Therapy can help with stress, relationships, life transitions, trauma, anxiety, grief, and personal growth.
Therapy is about meeting you where you are, even if that means not addressing trauma. Patients are not pressured to disclose details before they're ready and that therapy can begin with stabilization, coping skills, safety, and building trust.
Virtual and In-person sessions are available.
